August Valhalla in 2 days!

Door Prizes and remaining tickets
In order to be eligible to win the fantastic door prizes, including video cards, all in one printers and shuttle cases, you MUST buy a ticket before the event. There are only 2 tickets left at Gamequest in the city at this time (1.30pm Thursday), there are some tickets remaining at all suburban outlets until late friday afternoon, and all remaining tickets will be available at the door. i stress again, tickets purchased at the door are ineligible for the door prizes.

Cheap October Tickets
We will again be selling limited numbers of tickets for the October 11th event at this valhalla for the bargain price of $10. This price is only available at the August 23rd event, and will not be extended to our ticket outlets.

Network Cable
Due to constant pillaging of our reserve supplies of network cable, please be aware that Valhalla can no longer give away free cables to those who dont bring them. A vendor will be in place on the day selling cables, thanks to our great sponsors at LEADER.

These will be limited to about 10 of each.

BBQ and Pizza
The Valhalla BBQ will take place during the tea break at 6pm, and pizza orders will likely commence at the conclusion of the bbq period. (to be determined)

Dress Responsibly
We strongly advise all attendees to rug up and dress warmly on the day of the event, due to the somewhat cooler and wetter weather we have been having of late.

August Valhalla - One week to go!

Just a reminder that our next Valhalla event is due on Saturday, August 23rd - that is now just over 7 days away. Due to the inclement weather of late, we strongly recommend rugging up.

Tickets are still available from all outlets at this time. Note that to go in the major prize draws you must have purchased a ticket prior to the event. Our outlets are listed on the right hand side of the website.

Seating Reservations for August LAN Now Open!!!

Hearty LAN-goers, I hereby announce that seating reservations for the August LAN are now officially OPEN!!!

You must remember the following or you will turn CommanderEl into CommanderAngry
* email commanderel@valhalla.net.au
* Number of seats needed
* Ticket numbers for those seats
* Clan name

Reservations will close just before Midnight Wednesday night, ie 20/08/2008 11:59pm
SO GET YOUR TICKETS EARLY!!!

If you do not provide ticket numbers with your booking, I will not allocate you seats. Your seating reservation is confirmed when I reply to your email saying " Booking Confirmed" or something to that effect.

Competition Notes:
1. Valhalla is going to introduce our first Soul Calibur 4 competition on PS3.
2. if more than 8 teams sign on for CSS, then the competition will be single elim with double elim finals.
3. Team Fortress 2 has been brought forward and COD4 rotated backwards as part of our policy of rotating the secondary team competitions.

Valhalla This Weekend!

Just one sleep to go before another Valhalla event is upon us.

Tickets will be available at the door, there is not a final figure yet, but there will be at least 30 tickets available.

As an added bonus, people that come along and pre-purchase a ticket to the August LAN, will only pay $10 a ticket! We want to see just how many people we can get to come along to the August event, so $10 tickets for all!

Please note that this offer was only available during the July LAN, tickets at our outlets are still $20. Sorry to anybody that assumed that all tickets for August LAN were going to be $10, I originally wrote the report poorly.
