Valhalla tickets and reservations

Tickets remain available at this time at all outlets for the upcoming Valhalla Birthday event on July 18th. Reservations remain open and close on Thursday, July 16th. All tickets for this event are $10.00.



AVCON is coming up and Valhalla is pleased to be supporting this years AVCON event. AVCON tickets are now available through Bass outlets. More information at www.avcon.org.au

This weekends LAN events

Lots to choose from this weekend:


ASLAN (Air-Stream LAN) is a lanning event for gaming fun and also to promote the presence of the Air Stream wireless community in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. Multiple ASLAN events are planned to be held each calendar year. As usual ASLAN is being held at the Mawson Centre, from 10am until 10pm.


LOCATION: Lobethal Senior Citizens Hall
TIME: the event starts at 10am and finishes at 9pm, pack-up starts at 8:30pm.

Weekend News!

Valhalla Tickets and Reservations

Tickets remain on sale for the upcoming Birthday event on July 18th. However, tickets are selling rapidly so get in quick to any of our outlets (listed on the right of the screen). Reservations are also open and can be emailed to seating@valhalla.net.au. Please note you must buy a ticket before the event to be in the draw for the great door prizes!

In case you missed the news, it seems that we wont be able to get a bouncing castle for this event for a variety of reasons, however we have booked and confirmed the air hockey table, bbq, and cake. We will replace the bouncing castle with something just as fun. On top of all that, we'll be running our normal competitions - CSS, DOTA, COD4 (all 5v5), the Ultimate Fighting Championship, FIFA09. Together with the newly introduced Quiz and PSU throw, we'll be staging the Captain Retro comp - the prize for which will be a full PC!

Weekend LANs



LANTastic caters for adult gamers looking for fun, friendly LAN parties, free from hoards of adolescent distractions, but with all the usual activities and events. LANTastic is held at the Glenelg North Community Hall, which is centrally located on the corner of Kibby avenue and Alison street (reserve) Glenelg North.

LAN parties in South Australia are proudly supported by Valhalla and Alienware.

Tickets are selling strongly at this time and we expect to sell out this event, despite increased capacity.

Limited tickets will be available at the LAN for the August 29th Valhalla event for $10.00 on the day. Tickets will also be available for the January Reloaded event, with a special deal to be revealed.

Seating Reservations

Seating reservations are now open, and the seating map can be viewed here. All reservations, large and small must be emailed to seating@valhalla.net.au by no later than Thursday prior to the lan. Reservations recieved after this time may not be updated.

Preliminary Competition Timetable can be found here. Please note that this timetable may be subject to change pending competition numbers. Alternatively, Valhalla will provide small prizes for competitions run by lanners that attract more than 8 people.

The Valhalla Quiz returns, FIFA 09 will have an earlier start and we'll be running a variety of retro comps from 10 years ago. There'll also be an air hockey tournament.

Pre LAN Competition

Thanks to AMD we are giving away gear in Random member draws over the next 5 weeks til the event. In order to be in with a chance to win the goodies, you must be a member of the Valhalla Steam Group, the Valhalla Facebook Group or the Valhalla IRC channel (server= irc.enterthegame.com, channel = #valhalla )

Reloaded Launch Event

There'll be some prizes and a brief presentation during the tea break for Reloaded, the website is currently up at http://www.reloadedlan.org but is currently not complete. There'll be a launch event special on tickets as well. More information to come.

Event catering

There will be a free BBQ in the early evening, but for those who cant wait, Subway will be present throughout the event and the St Clair Kiosk will be open as well. On top of that, there will be birthday cake at all.
